An ergonomist-led site assessment — two ways to run it.
A certified ergonomist walks your site, measures the environment with instruments and scores each task with validated methods. Choose the simplified assessment, or the full five-dimension Modified LEST evaluation.
Site Assessment (Simplified)
An ergonomist walks the site, measures the environment with instruments, and runs the validated physical-risk methods that fit each task.
- Instrument-measured environment (lux / dBA / °C)
- Per-task physical methods — RULA, REBA, OWAS, NIOSH and more
- NMQ discomfort survey + clinical notes
- Free curation — run the methods the site needs
The standard Site Assessment report.
Site Assessment (Modified LEST)
Everything in Simplified, plus the worker-experience dimensions — scored as the full five-dimension Modified LEST histogram with a completeness gate.
- All five dimensions scored 0–10 (never summed)
- Adds mental load, psychosocial and work-time axes
- Completeness gate — the report can't issue until every dimension has data
- A five-axis histogram as a third report alongside the standard SA
The complete workplace-conditions picture.
The Modified LEST option is a mode of the same assessment — toggled on per engagement. Same ergonomist, same visit.
Five dimensions. One histogram. Never summed.
L.E.S.T. (Guélaud et al., 1975) scores a job across five orthogonal dimensions on a common 0–10 scale and plots them as a profile — so a physically light but psychologically punishing job, and its reverse, are both visible. A single average would hide both.
Modified LEST keeps that framework, but scores it with validated modern instruments rather than 1977 manual coding.
How Modified LEST reads the whole job — five dimensions, each scored 0–10 and plotted as a histogram, never collapsed into one number.
Physical load
RULA / REBA / OWAS / NIOSH, computer-vision-assisted and ergonomist-confirmed
Physical environment
instrument-measured lux / dBA / °C mapped to LEST's native Guélaud cotation
Mental load
NASA-TLX (perceived task demand)
Psychosocial factors
Karasek demand–control
Work time
Karolinska Sleepiness Scale + shift pattern
Instrument-anchored, ergonomist-governed.
Ergonomist-administered
A certified ergonomist runs the assessment on-site — the physical methods, the instrument readings and the structured worker interview.
Instrument + computer-vision scored
Physical dimensions from RULA / REBA / OWAS / NIOSH (computer-vision-assisted, ergonomist-confirmed); environment from lux / dBA / °C mapped onto LEST's native Guélaud cotation.
Worker-experience captured
Mental load via NASA-TLX, psychosocial via Karasek demand–control, and work time via the Karolinska Sleepiness Scale plus shift pattern.
Completeness gate + honest disclosure
The histogram only issues once all five dimensions have data — no dimension is estimated or quietly skipped.
Every dimension on the same 0–10 language.
0–10 per dimension · plotted as a 5-axis histogram (never summed)

The Modified LEST evaluation ships as a five-axis histogram — a third report alongside the standard Site Assessment overview and per-method findings.

Real, anonymised sample reports — the Site Assessment with the Modified LEST 5-axis profile, and the standard Site Assessment.
Site Assessment + Modified LEST
Everything in the Site Assessment report plus the Modified LEST five-dimension profile — physical load, environment, mental load, psychosocial and work time, each scored 0–10.
